Calla Lily and Frangipani.

I've had very little time for painting and drawing in the past month, having spent time sightseeing and visiting relatives in Alice Springs and Adelaide, but I did manage to get two small stippled florals done. I love stippling with Pen and Ink, and I really love the Small Format. These are both done on Watercolour Paper with Micron Pens and measure 3.5"x2.5".

Saw your blog link from wetcanvas. I have always been a fan of stipple. I was instantly drawn to your beautiful stippled florals. Do you find it soothing to stipple? I have not done more than a couple in the past but I remember feeling a little Zen when I did them.
Thanks
Julia

Hi Julia,
Thankyou so much for taking a look at my Blog, and I'm so glad you enjoy stippling too. I absolutely love it, and it is one of the best ways to relax that I know. I just drift away in to my own little world when I'm stippling.

Captivating. How long does it take to make one of these? Really good work.
